President Donald J. Trump is dominating the debate in the Davos Forum, and his speech has a major theme: the United States has always been there in the past and has been paying for the world.
It was the old world; now it is a different one, where every country should take care of itself and be economically solid.
In a way, the Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney's speech was an introduction to Trump one, and both are saying the same thing: that we are in a new world and we should forget about the old world, which does not, and will not, exist anymore.
Donald Trump thinks that the economy should be each country's responsibility and that it is wrong to depend financially on a big country for its market, whether it is the United States or China.
