BRIAN MULRONEY (1939-2024)-  Par Bernard Bujold -  Pour tous ceux et celles qui ont connu et côtoyé Brian Mulroney, c'était "Brian et Mila". Une équipe inséparable qui se complétait parfaitement. Sans Mila, Brian ne serait jamais devenu Premier ministre du Canada. Mila était le René Angélil du couple et Brian la Céline Dion...  J'étais de l'équipe de 1984 alors que le Parti conservateur avait remporté l'élection fédérale par un compte de 211 sièges sur 282. C'était trop, car cela faisait trop de députés qui voulaient tous être un ministre, mais le plus difficile était de rallier tous ces députés provenant de partout au Canada et qui considéraient leur province respective comme la plus importante...  L'équipe de 1984 se considérait comme des champions du Super Bowl. Le problème c'est que ceux qui avaient gagné l'élection, des vendeurs dans l'âme (comme moi) et des génies du marketing, n'étaient pas des gestionnaires de gouvernement. Br

LA MORT SUR COMMANDE-   Par Bernard Bujold -  Depuis quelques années, j'apprends régulièrement, toujours avec une grande tristesse, que des connaissances, des voisins et même des amis ont demandé l'aide médical à mourir, ou un suicide assisté.  Il faut savoir qu'au Québec, seul l'aide médical à mourir administrée par un médecin est légal, tandis qu'ailleurs au Canada on peut choisir entre l'acte d'un médecin ou le suicide assisté et appliquer nous-mêmes le traitement de fin de vie.  Personnellement, je ne suis pas en faveur d'aucune de ces deux méthodes de mourir, car je me dis que la vie mérite d'être vécue jusqu'à la fin, mais je changerai peut-être mon opinion un jour lorsque je serai devenu totalement moribond. Je choisirais cependant la formule du suicide assisté, car j’aime contrôler.  Mais au final, je crois aux miracles et devant des obstacles de la vie, lorsque je ne peux pas les vaincre, je laisse le destin décider.  Le chanteur françai

GILBERT ROZON ET SON OEUVRE-  Par Bernard Bujold -  Les créations de notre société sont toujours l'oeuvre d'individus et jamais des oeuvres de société.  Le Festival Juste pour rire était l'oeuvre d'un homme, Gilbert Rozon, et son élimination a aussi éliminé sa création. Le journal LE DEVOIR présente un reportage complet sur ce sujet et il démontre que Juste pour rire est à sa fin de vie, ou presque...  J'ai très bien connu Gilbert Rozon, mais nous n'étions pas des amis. Je m'entendais beaucoup mieux avec les quatre soeurs de Gilbert, dont en particulier celle qui avait vécu à New York pendant plusieurs années. Les quatre soeurs appuyaient leur frère, mais tout le monde reconnaissait que l'âme était Gilbert. L'ART DU SUCCÈS- Par Bernard Bujold-  On peut conclure que la chanteuse Taylor Swift, née le 13 décembre 1989 (34 ans), possède trois personnalités qui font au final son succès.  Si on la compare à Céline Dion, née le 30 mars 1968 (55 ans), celle-ci n'avait qu'une seule personnalité, elle chantait!
