LA RELIGION EN 2024 - Par Bernard Bujold - L’humanité partout sur la planète est polarisée et divisée en clans et on peut identifier la cause à la religion.  La polarisation existe depuis le début des temps. Mes ancêtres acadiens (des protestants) ont quitté Larochelle pour traverser en Amérique vers 1685 justement à cause de la guerre entre catholiques et protestants. En 2024, l’exemple des conflits entre les religions est la guerre de l’Israel (Judaïsme) contre la Palestine et le Hamas (Musulman).  Pourtant la religion devrait être une source de rassemblement et d’unité. Les scientifiques disent même que la religion est une façon de guérir la dépression humaine en brisant l’isolement.   THE #METOO MOVEMENT - By Bernard Bujold - Activists in the #MeToo Movement have just received a severe attack on their ideology as the main character, Harvey Weinstein, has had one of his two capability verdicts overturned. Indeed, the original THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT includes 16 songs, but there's a 15-song addition entitled: The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology.  I've listened to both editions and I'm under the spell. The music is softer than on Taylor's other albums, and the lyrics are truly thought-provoking poems that speak directly to contemporary life. In fact, all human life is theater.
