SNOWSTORM AND CINEMA WEEKEND -

I took advantage of the weekend snowstorm to watch movies... 
I chose the AMERICAN PRIMEVAL series on Netflix. American Primeval is a six-episode series that explores the American West in 1857. The show is a fiction and dramatization of the collision of culture, religion, and community as people fight for control. In 2025, this power struggle is even more intense than ever, all over the planet...
For the photographer that I am, the images of American Primeval are exceptional! The series was filmed in New Mexico, with only two days of the 130-day shoot taking place indoors.

LE MUSÉE DES BEAUX-ARTS DE MONTRÉAL ET UN MOMENT HISTORIQUE  Par Bernard Bujold -  Le journal LE DEVOIR publie un excellent éditorial (vendredi 17 juillet 2020) qui est un regard complet sur la situation dramatique et historique qui se déroule présentement au Musée des Beaux-Arts de Montréal et l'éditeur du journal a raison quand il écrit que "... L’affaire pourrait se résumer à une directrice générale qui en menait large sur un fond de climat toxique et à un président du conseil qui a voulu en mener plus large qu’elle..."  Le débat est totalement polarisé, et si plusieurs employés semblent se rallier au conseil d'administration; le grand public, les membres usagers du Musée (les abonnés(ées) et plusieurs dirigeants d'autres musées, au Québec et en France, semblent appuyer unanimement et en bloc la directrice congédiée, Nathalie Bondil.  Plusieurs directeurs des grands Musées de France prennent officiellement position en faveur de Nathalie Bondil et se disent...
