DONALD TRUMP AND THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES -

The United States has always been very polarized, and while some think the Donald Trump era is the most divided, you only have to look at History to see the opposite. 
The Abraham Lincoln era (1861-65) was probably the most violent, with the debate over the end of slavery. The era of George Washington (1789-1797) was also turbulent, as the United States was beginning to create its own country, with many states seeking independence from the central government. 
Donald Trump's political debate is similar to Lincoln's and Washington's in terms of polarization, but there are different personalities. All three men were great orators, but while Donald Trump is energetic and on the attack, Lincoln was known for his ability to forgive and seek reconciliation. Washington was a gentleman, but like Trump, he was very nationalistic about the United States. 
The November 2024 election will be a highly polarized one, with immigration, racism, and the economy all on the agenda. The verdict of the New York trial will also decide the political direction of the debates, but one thing is certain: it will be very aggressive and historic...
