FÊTE DU CANADA 2021
La fête du Canada en ce jeudi 1er juillet 2021 sera différente, encore sous l’influence du confinement d’une part, mais surtout à cause du scandale des orphelinats d’autre part.
Le scandale des orphelinats projette un regard particulier sur les dirigeants politiques et religieux de l'époque 1890-1960 et leurs actions d'alors mettent clairement en évidence le manque d'humanité envers les Premiers peuples.
La vie est injuste pour certains, et généreuse pour d'autres. C'est une question de destin, j’imagine!
Personnellement, la vie politique canadienne m'a apporté beaucoup de bonheur de vie et j'ai adoré vivre à Ottawa, la capitale du Canada. J’ai beaucoup de souvenirs de ma belle époque avec Brian Mulroney en 1984 alors que je rêvais de pouvoir aider à changer le monde et où mes deux enfants étaient la preuve que le bonheur existe.
À chaque année, j'ai toujours aimé fêter le Canada, mais la fête de 2021 ramène en mémoire de bien tristes moments dans l’histoire du pays.
D’ailleurs c’est toute la vie en société depuis mars 2020 qui a pris une allure moribonde pour l’humanité.
Mais il faut toujours savoir vivre le moment présent et fondamentalement, il faut accepter que le passé est dans l'histoire, et que le futur est à créer.
Bonne fête du Canada et souhaitons-nous un avenir généreux et paisible avec des rêves d'accomplissement et de bonheur.

CANADA DAY 2021-

Canada Day on this Thursday, July 1, 2021 will be different, still under the influence of lock down on the one hand, but mostly because of the orphanage scandal on the other hand.
The orphanage scandal casts a particular light on the political and religious leaders of the 1890-1960 era and their actions at the time clearly highlight the lack of humanity towards the First Peoples.
Life is unfair to some and generous to others. It's a matter of fate, I guess!
Personally, Canadian political life has brought me much happiness in my life and I have loved living in Ottawa, the capital of Canada. I have many memories of my good times with Brian Mulroney in 1984 when I dreamed of being able to help change the world and when my two children were proof that happiness exists.
I have always enjoyed celebrating Canada every year, but 2021 brings back memories of some very sad moments in the country's history.
In fact, all of our society's life since March 2020 has taken on a moribund look for humanity.
But we must always know how to live in the now moment and, fundamentally, we must accept that the past is in the history, and that the future is to be created.
Happy Canada Day and let's wish each other a generous and peaceful future with dreams of accomplishment and happiness.
