ANNIVERSAIRE DE NAISSANCE 2021

Le 28 juin 2021 était la date de mon anniversaire de naissance.
Merci à toutes et tous de vos bons voeux d'anniversaire, et bien sûr, un merci tout spécial à mon fidèle Ulysse pour une inspiration continue...
Cette année, je me suis offert un cadeau, de moi à moi, sous la forme d'un livre photo, une édition en français et une autre en anglais.
Il ne s'agit pas d'un guide photo, car j'ai écrit les textes comme si je racontais mon histoire personnelle à mes deux enfants David- Bernard et Stéphanie, et à mes deux petites filles Ava et Emma, à qui d'ailleurs j'ai dédié le livre.
J’y raconte mes impressions, des anecdotes et mon cheminement en photographie. L'ouvrage compte plus de 340 pages et il est illustré de quelque 400 photos que j'ai choisies parmi ma collection que j'évalue à plus de 100,000 images prises depuis mon adolescence.

J'adore la photographie qui est ma grande passion de vie mais j'ai également d'autres passions dont le sport.
D'ailleurs pour 2021, j’ai souligné mon anniversaire au gymnase car j’aime l'ambiance de l’entrainement sportif, un mode de vie que j’ai adopté depuis mon adolescence. Pour moi le gymnase est un endroit qui me permet de méditer et, après les exercices, faire la lecture de divers médias, dont mon préféré The Wall Street Journal…Autrefois je faisais la lecture des journaux papier mais aujourd’hui c’est sur internet!

Cette année, j'ai également reçu en cadeau une magnifique photo de mon idole Donald Trump, photo que j'encadrerai et accrocherai bien en évidence dans mon salon et que je conserverai comme une sorte d'icône! Merci, Donald...
N’oublions jamais que la seule chose qui compte dans la vie c'est l'amour et la photographie est une façon d'immortaliser et partager l'amour.
Malheureusement, le temps passe trop vite!
Je pense parfois à des bons moments de vie, ou moins bons, et dans mon esprit c’est arrivé il y a quelques mois tandis que dans la réalité, ça fait déjà quelques années!
Heureusement, ma philosophie est de vivre au moment présent, avec un léger regard sur l’avenir.
Souhaitons-nous que du bon et du beau pour le trajet à venir, tambour battant!

Thank you all for your birthday wishes, and of course, a special thanks to my faithful Ulysse for a continuous inspiration...
This year, I gave myself a gift, from me to me, in the form of a photo book, one edition in French and one in English. It is not a photo guide, because I wrote the texts as if I were telling my personal story to my two children David - Bernard and Stephanie, and to my two granddaughters Ava and Emma, to whom I dedicated the book. I tell my impressions, anecdotes and my path in photography. The book has more than 340 pages and is illustrated with some 400 photos that I have chosen from my collection that I estimate to be more than 100,000 images taken since my adolescence.

I love photography which is my great passion in life but I also have other passions including sports. For 2021, I have marked my birthday at the gym because I love the atmosphere of sports training, a way of life that I have adopted since my teenage years. For me, the gym is a place where I can meditate and, after working out, read various media, including my favorite, The Wall Street Journal... I used to read paper newspapers, but now it's on the internet! I love reading!
This year, I also received as a gift a beautiful photo of my idol Donald Trump, a photo that I will frame and hang prominently in my living room and keep as a sort of icon! Thank you, Donald...
Let's never forget that the only thing that counts in life is love and photography is a way to immortalize and share that love.
Unfortunately, time passes too quickly! I sometimes think of good moments in life, or not so good, and in my mind it happened a few months ago while in reality it's already been a few years!
Fortunately, my philosophy is to live in the moment, with a slight look to the future. Let's wish each other nothing but good and beautiful for the journey ahead, drumbeat!
