LA FIN DU MONDE?

Je me souviens qu'enfant, on nous enseignait à l'école qu'un jour ce serait la fin du monde et que des flammes détruiraient toute la terre. On nous précisait qu'il fallait bien se préparer en étant obéissant... 
Depuis une dizaine d'années, la civilisation de la planète est sérieusement attaquée et on se demande à chaque fois si c'est la fin du monde qui arrive! 
En septembre 2011, il y a d'abord eu OCCUPY WALL STREET (ici au Québec les Carrés rouges au printemps 2012); puis en 2017, il y a eu le mouvement METOO avec Harvey Weinstein (ici au Québec ce fut avec Gilbert Rozon en 2018 et Éric Salvail en octobre 2017). Le Mouvement MeToo a transformé les rapports humains mais il a aussi détruit des empires économiques et on peut dire que c'était la fin du monde pour les employés concernés; puis en février 2020, le monde entier a connu le Coronavirus et le confinement économique et résidentiel que ce virus a obligé.
Si cela n'était pas suffisant pour détruire la civilisation, voilà que le lundi 25 mai 2020, le meurtre d'un noir (George Floyd) par un policier (Derek Chauvin) et filmé sur iPhone a mis les États-Unis en situation d'émeutes généralisées partout au pays. 
S'il y a une observation, c'est que dans chacune des périodes de destruction de la civilisation, la tragédie a d'abord commencé avec les actions d'une seule personne qui ont fait comme sauter le couvercle. 
LA CONCLUSION: la fin du monde est proche...

THE END OF THE WORLD?

I remember when we were children, we were taught at school that one day the world would end and flames would destroy the whole earth. We were told that we had to be prepared by being obedient... 
For the past ten years or so, the civilization of the planet has been under serious attack and we always wonder if it is the end of the world that is coming! In September 2011, there was first OCCUPY WALL STREET (here in Quebec the Carrés rouges in spring 2012); then in 2017, there was the METOO movement with Harvey Weinstein (here in Quebec it was with Gilbert Rozon in 2018 and Éric Salvail in October 2017). The MeToo Movement transformed human relations but it also destroyed economic empires and we can say that it was the end of the world for the employees concerned; then in February 2020, the whole world experienced the Coronavirus and the economic and residential containment that this virus forced... 
If that wasn't enough to destroy civilization, then on Monday, May 25, 2020, the murder of a black man (George Floyd) by a police officer (Derek Chavin) and filmed on iPhone put the United States in a situation of widespread riots across the country. 
If there is one observation, it is that in every period of civilization's destruction, tragedy has begun with the actions of a single person who has acted like blowing the lid off. 
THE CONCLUSION: the end of the world is near...
