Many people are asking me if I am still a fan of Donald Trump after the January 6 events?
My bias for Donald Trump is not compassion on my part but observation since 2016.
Personally, I am anything but an intellectual thinker and I do not believe in the exclusivity of the intellectual elite. I am more a person of the people. Here in Quebec, for example, I am contrary to the opinion of a Lise Bissonnette who said a few years ago that all political leaders should come from the elite (university, official institutions, etc.).
For me Donald Trump represents the people just like a Pierre Péladeau or a Serge Losique represented.
Now, what is currently happening in the United States is closer to the historical family war "Hatfield-McCoy".
As an example, lists are being made in the left-wing media of all those who worked closely or remotely with the Trump government and the media are asking to ban them from hiring in American companies (Forbes magazine editorial).
With a country of 330 million people divided into two roughly equal groups that despise and hate each other, this brings us directly back to the "Hatfield-McCoy feud" situation?
And to make things worse, the next president Joe Biden is as "polarizing" as Donald Trump could have been.
And in addition, we all have to deal with the coronavirus...
Our era is not the most beautiful to live.
Fortunately, there are "wire string" to hang on to and survive...

L'ÉPOQUE DE LA QUERELLE ENTRE HATFIELD ET MCCOY

Beaucoup de gens me demandent si je suis toujours un fan de Donald Trump après les événements du 6 janvier ?
Mon parti pris pour Donald Trump n'est pas de la compassion de ma part mais l'observation depuis 2016.
Personnellement, je suis tout sauf un penseur intellectuel et je ne crois pas à l'exclusivité de l'élite intellectuelle. Je suis plutôt une personne du peuple. Ici, au Québec, par exemple, je suis à l'opposé de l'opinion d'une Lise Bissonnette qui disait il y a quelques années que tous les leaders politiques devraient provenir de l'élite (université, institutions officielles, etc.).
Pour moi, Donald Trump représente le peuple tout comme un Pierre Péladeau ou un Serge Losique le représentait.
Maintenant, ce qui se passe actuellement aux États-Unis est plus proche de la fameuse guerre de famille "Hatfield-McCoy".
À titre d'exemple, les médias de gauche font la liste de tous ceux qui ont travaillé de près ou de loin avec le gouvernement Trump et les médias suggèrent l'interdiction d'embaucher dans les entreprises américaines (éditorial du magazine Forbes).
Avec un pays de 330 millions d'habitants divisé en deux groupes à peu près égaux qui se méprisent et se détestent, cela nous ramène directement à une situation de "Hatfield-McCoy" ?
Et pour empirer la situation, le prochain président Joe Biden est tout autant "polarisant" que Donald Trump pouvait l'être.
Et en plus, nous devons tous faire face au coronavirus...
Notre époque n'est pas la plus belle à vivre.
Heureusement, il y a de la "broche" pour s'accrocher et survivre...
